PAGB PHOTOGRAPHIC DISTINCTIONS
AWARDS WORKSHOP
Sunday 16 th October 2005

The next PAGB Appraisal day is being organised by the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs at Harrow in late November.
Because of interest shown by their members they are organising an Awards Workshop at Lacey Green Millennium Hall, Main Road, Lacey Green, Bucks HP27 0Q commencing at 10.30 and finishing around 4.30pm
Advisory sessions are being conducted by Don Byatt, ARPS, EFIAP, MPAGB, BPE4*, Susan Hill, FRPS, MPAGB, EFIAP and Paul Keene FRPS, EFIAP/p, MPAGB.
There will be tea, coffee and soft drinks available but attendees will have to make their own luncheon arrangements - either bring a packed lunch or use the local hostelries.
CACC have limited the number who can have their work assessed to a maximum of 30 and the proposed applicant must attend in person to hear any advice given.   Work is to be brought on the day.             The entry fee is £15.   Obviously CACC members will be catered for on a first come, first served basis but if there is insufficient take up, applicants from the Southern Fed will be accepted.
Subject to the Hall capacity a limited number of observers will be admitted at £10 each.
Do not turn up on the day without pre-booking, as entry will be by ticket only.
This will be an ideal way for any SPF member who is considering entering for a distinction to "get a feel" for the level of work required.   They are hoping to cater for all three category of distinction, CPAGB, DPAGB and MPAGB.
For further details/application form, please contact the CACC Awards Officer:-
Tony Holland, 12 Austin Road, Woodley, Reading, RG5 4EJ
Unfortunately this workshop will be too late for entry into the November Assessments as the closing date is the end of September.   However, if any SPF members do attend I would appreciate feedback as we may consider running a similar event ourselves in the future.
If you are considering entering the November assessment, I can supply you with all the details on receipt of an A5 (min) stamped addressed envelope
