It has been a great photographic Autumn this year for those with the time on the good weather days. The Forest has been glorious and then to be followed by the excitement of bonfire night. It is with great pleasure to be able to present the certificate and badge of the APAGB distinction to Audrey Cleverly of Wooston CC in recognition of over 40 years service to that club. It is an honour well deserved. Congratulations to her. The Two clubs Ordnance Survey PS and Disabled PS represented the Southern Federation at the PAGB Club Print championships and did creditably. The Ordnance Survey won the Plate Competition with some very high marks and had the honour of a silver medal awarded by one of the judges for favourite best print. So congratulations to Fiona Senior for that. It will be interesting to see how they do in our Print Championships when Ordnance survey cannot use any of the prints shown at the PAGB event, Other clubs take heart you are in with a good chance to be the first winner the Pat Christiansen Tankard and Plate. The Club Print Championships are at the Crosfield Hall on the 25 th January and all are welcome to have a good day out even if your club is not taking part. We have good news for our entry to the PAGB Slide exhibition , but more of that in another page of this site. E-mail will be the first means of sending information to clubs, so please ensure your address is accurate. It will save a lot of money in postage. A New Venture is the online Competition on our website, and a notice about it is being sent to clubs and is on the web. It is for each member of your club to participate. January brings our Exhibition in Salisbury which is always splendid . I hope all the prints and slides are here, ready to be sorted next weekend. I look forward to seeing many of you at the preview evening. Happy Christmas and a Snappy New Year to all. Anne |
